To be able to continue our supports to the orphans and the impoverished children at the orphanages, we, the volunteers know that we will need to work harder this coming year. It is  our passion. We know that we can make a change. It might be just a little one but we are so willing.

Registered Charity 1112381
Last year, 2007/2008, we worked hard all year round to raise funds through individual donations and various fund raising events.

We went out extra miles (for example, to Dorking Thai Festival - selling smoothies, Guildford - selling Christmas cards and Dr Khanungnit Garnett donated all of her incomes from her food consultancy at various Thai festivals: Battasea Park and Greenwich) in order to raise more funds for the less fortunate children.
And recently, Khun Roger (our Chairman) was kindly offered a mobile catering to sell Thai foods at the Canal Day and the Christmas light switch-on in Banbury. Thank you to khun Laksana - our skillful chef who cooked so well that we had managed to get an order in for her famous 'pad Thai sauce'! Though we could not say that these brought any prosperity to us due to a bad wether - but as a volunteer we felt fantastic! Because we were out doing the most blessing causes for the less fortunate young ones!

If you are looking for a new direction - wishing to make an impact on someone's life - does not matter how old you are, you can always get involved.
  • Have a stall at a car boot
We have been running our annual charity’s car boot sale since 2006. Each year we managed to raise over £300. Perhaps you can do the similar thing i.e. having a stall at a car boot sale. Generally, most car boot sale organisers are very happy to let charities have a FREE pitch. For promotion packs, please contact us today.

  • Hold a Dinner party
See our Grand Thai Night. Or contact us for more ideas.

  • Coffee morning
Invite a few friends around for coffee and cakes at your office, premises and house, called it ‘A coffee morning’. And ask for a minimum of £1 donation.  For promotion packs, please contact us today.

  • Non-uniform day
Ask your head teacher to hold a Non Uniform day at School. Ask each student to donate £1. Some Supermarkets have non-uniform days. If you are an employee of one of these supermarkets, why not ask the store manager to support Little Siam Trust on one of these days? For promotion packs, please contact us today.

We will provide fundraising and promotion packs for all of your ideas.

There are so many ways of raising awareness and funds such as running a marathon or cycling from the North to the South of Thailand. Or you could choose to hold a dinner party, such a Grand Thai Night.

Followings are just some ideas of fundraising. For your new ideas, please contact or come to see us at Duang-dhamma Building. Please remember every penny helps to change the life of a child - forever.
